Tajikistan e-Visa Requirements Checklist for 2026

Before you open the form, run through this checklist so your Tajikistan visa requirements line up with current entry practice.

Essential documents

  • Ordinary passport valid for at least six months after the visa you request, and for at least six months from intended entry, with two blank pages
  • Recent colour portrait (JPEG, PNG or GIF, under 3 MB, plain light background)
  • Clear scan of the full passport biographical page, including the machine-readable zone
  • Working email address for delivery of the approval
  • Visa, Mastercard or American Express card

Helpful extras

Some nationalities are asked for extra files after nationality and dates are selected — for example tickets, hotel details or a bank statement. A business visit may also need proof of the trip, such as an invitation. The portrait and the passport scan are separate files; do not upload the same image twice.

GBAO permit

Travel to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region — Khorog, the Pamir Highway, the Wakhan Valley, Rushon or Murghob — needs a separate single-entry permit in addition to the e-Visa. Request it on the same form and enter that region on the date printed on the permit.
