How to Apply for Tajikistan e-Visa Online in 3 Simple Steps

The Tajikistan e-Visa lets eligible travellers apply online for a short tourism or business visit. You must apply while you are outside Tajikistan. Most complete files are reviewed within about three business days after payment clears; apply about two weeks before travel in case a scan needs to be replaced.

Before you start

• Your passport should remain valid for at least six months after the visa you request, and for at least six months from the date you intend to enter.
• The passport needs at least two blank pages. Use the same passport at the border.
• Every traveller, including each child, needs a separate application.
• Match every name and passport number to the biodata page — small typos cause the most delays.
• Add a GBAO permit on the same form if the route enters the Pamirs.

Three steps

1. Complete the form. Enter personal details exactly as shown in your passport. Choose tourism or business, single or multiple entry, and your intended travel dates.
2. Upload documents and pay. Submit a recent colour portrait and a clear scan of the passport biodata page. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Published consular fees are USD 30 for single entry and USD 50 for multiple entry. A GBAO permit is USD 20 when the trip enters Gorno-Badakhshan.
3. Receive the e-Visa by email. Download the approval, keep a copy on your phone or on paper, and carry it with the same passport to immigration at Dushanbe International Airport (DYU), Khujand, or another border point.

What you receive

Approved applicants get an e-Visa by email. It can also be downloaded from the status page. The visa is valid for 90 days and the stay is up to 60 days. Name, passport number, and dates cannot be changed after approval.
