Tajikistan e-Visa FAQ

It depends on your passport. Some nationalities enter without a visa for a short stay. Others apply for a Tajikistan e-Visa before travel, for tourism or business. Check the eligible countries list.

A Tajikistan e-Visa is an official document for a short tourist or business visit. You apply online from outside Tajikistan. The stay is up to 60 days, and the visa is valid for 90 days. Read the Tajikistan e-Visa guide.

Complete one form per traveler, pay by card, and download the file from the confirmation email after approval. Apply about two weeks ahead, while you are still outside Tajikistan. This page does not promise a day when the e-Visa will be ready.

You need a passport that stays valid for at least six months after the visa you request and for at least six months from your intended entry date, with at least two blank pages. No. Approved information cannot be changed. A different entry date needs a new application. If the visa does not match the passport, it is invalid. Check every field before you pay.

No. You may enter on any date within the 90-day validity. If you want to enter earlier than the date on the e-Visa, you must make a new application.

Holders may enter Tajikistan through all border points, including Dushanbe International Airport and Khujand International Airport.

Yes, if the trip enters the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. The GBAO permit is single entry and separate from the Tajikistan e-Visa. Enter that region on the date shown on the permit. Tajik missions publish the permit fee as USD 20.

A Tajikistan visa on arrival is collected at the Consular Bureau at Dushanbe International Airport after a separate advance approval. A Tajikistan e-Visa is approved before you travel and sent by email. This site does not issue the airport visa. See visa on arrival.

Tajik missions publish USD 30 for a single-entry Tajikistan e-Visa and USD 50 for multiple entry. The GBAO permit is USD 20 when it is included. The total on this site is shown before you pay.

There is no refund after the application has been processed, when the confirmation is wrong because of details you entered, when you decide not to travel, or when an officer refuses entry. An unused e-Visa or an unused GBAO permit is not refunded. The full rule is on the refund policy and the cancellation policy.

A full refund is issued when the application is officially declined. A partial refund is issued when Tajikistan, or the region you planned to visit, is closed to visitors, or when a natural disaster or a similar event makes the trip impossible. A refund before the file is processed is at our discretion. Money is returned by the original payment method and may take 15 to 20 business days.

After approval, the file is sent to the email on the form, with a link to download it. The same download appears on the status page. Keep a copy on your phone or on paper. Details are on the delivery policy.

Check the inbox and the spam folder. If the status shows approved and you still cannot download the file within 24 hours, use the contact form within 5 days of that approval and choose Application Status. This page does not promise a day on which the e-Visa will be ready.

No. If you close the card page before payment, the application stays saved. You can return and pay later. Check the result on the status page with your reference number.
