Our aim
Last updated: October 13, 2026
E-Services wants this website to be usable by the widest range of people, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or a magnified page. We aim toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where that is practical. This is a goal, not a claim that every screen already meets that level.
This website is operated by E-Services, a private registered entity. It is not the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Government of Tajikistan does not endorse it.
What the pages include
- A “Skip to main content” link at the start of each page. It appears when you tab from the top of the page.
- A main region on each content page, with headings in order.
- A primary menu that can be opened from the keyboard. The menu button reports whether it is expanded.
- Visible focus on links, buttons, and form fields.
- Labels on the application form and the contact form, and text that explains a required field.
- Text alternatives on meaningful pictures. Menu icons and the flag stripe are hidden from assistive technology.
- Pages that reflow when the window is narrow or the text is enlarged.
Known limits
The site is checked in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Assistive technology can still behave differently from one browser to another.
- The contact mailboxes are shown as images, so a screen reader does not read the characters. Use the contact form if you cannot read the image.
- Payment screens are provided by the card processor. Those pages are outside this site.
- An older file, a scanned passport, or a downloaded visa is a document you upload or receive. Its accessibility depends on that file.
Report a barrier
If a page blocks you, use the contact form and choose General. You can also write to the general mailbox:
Name the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser, device, and assistive technology you used. We aim to reply within one to two business days.
